Stone Poets (Rev. James Harton, Dr. Dave Mudgett and John Kennedy) will be out with me this Sunday, March 28th. Check out the ARTICLE in The Daily Collegian on my weekly residency at Zeno's Pub in State College, PA every Sunday at 9PM

Here is a recording from STONE POETS' show at the SILO in Reading, PA a few weeks back. fiddler Tim Carbone (Railroad Earth) and drummer Stephe Ferraro (Boris Garcia) sit in on my song To The Sea. Special thanks to Todd (recording) & Mike (mix)

On April 3rd and 4th I'll be opening for and playing with a great band out of the Wilkes-Barre area called Cabinet. Friday the 3rd will be in Wilkes-Barre at the River Street Jazz Cafe and Saturday the 4th will be an Derek Trucks Band after-party at The Brass Lantern in Reading, PA starting at 10:30PM. A Plus-Vibes production...

I'm going to start doing solo shows on a regular basis at a beautiful restaurant called Emily's Pub located on Rt. 10 south of Reading, PA towards Morgantown. I'll be playing solo acoustic from 6 to 9 (could change, stay tuned) every OTHER Wednesday starting April 8th, and since Julie will be tending bar while I'm playing, look for her to sit in.

Here are a few tracks recorded at Porter's Pub in Easton, PA on March 20th. Thanks to the Jellsmas for the photo...

I learned I'm Troubled from a live Jerry Garcia Acoustic band tape, although the song itself has deep folk roots.

Here is a medley of a fast version of my song Gone Are Those Days and Lonesome Road Blues, an old blues tune I learned after seeing David Bromberg perform it in 1986.

I wrote Doubt Love a long time ago and Bill has been playing it with me just as long.

Woobie Cat Kitchens remains busy bringing you new live music to listen to on a regular basis and totally free. The Chronology page remains but stuff here on the news page will be updated with every new post, plus you can peruse the archives down at the bottom of this page for past exclusive song postings scattered throughout. Also in the future look for podcasts of more live music from our vaults as well as the return of Black Mountain Underground right here!
